Shall I compare thee to a summer"s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer"s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm"d;
And every fair from fair sometimes declines,
By chance, or nature"s changing course untrimm"d;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow"st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander"st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow"st;
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

그대를 여름날에 비겨 볼까요?
그대가 더 사랑스럽고 온화합니다
거친 바람 귀여운 오월 꽃망울을 흔들고
여름철의 기간은 너무 짧습니다
하늘의 눈은 때로 너무 뜨겁게 빛나고
그 금빛 안색은 자주 흐려집니다
모든 아름다움에서 아름다움이 줄어들고
우연이나 자연의 변화로 그 치장 빼앗깁니다
그러나 그대의 영원한 여름은 시들지 않고
그대가 지닌 아름다움을 잃지 않을 것이며
그대가 죽음의 그늘 속에서 헤매어도 죽음은 뻐기지 못할 것입니다
그대는 불멸의 시속에서 시간과 어깨를 겨룰 터이니까요
사람이 숨쉴 수 있고 볼 수 있는 눈을 가진 한
